Two plaintiffs of the People’s Climate Case, Sanna Vannar and Petru Vlad are invited to the European Parliament on 07 March between 09.30 – 11 am to speak in an event dedicated to their case.
It will be the first time that plaintiffs will meet with some of the EU lawmakers that they are taking to Court. The event is aiming to give a voice to the plaintiffs impacted by climate change and have an open and democratic discussion between MEPs and citizens asking for more ambitious climate policies.
The event will be co-hosted by the following 4 MEPs :
– Jo Leinen from S&D
– Sirpa Pietikäinen from EPP
– Bas Eickhout from the Greens
– Lynn Boylan from GUE/ NGL
